How to reach the island in Dubai? 

Monorail  

The most popular way to reach the island from the mainland is via the Palm Jumeirah Monorail. This driverless train offers panoramic views of the iconic Palm through its large windows. The journey begins at the mainland's Palm Gateway Station, which boasts 1,600 parking spaces, allowing you to park your car and head to the island for the entire day.

The next stop is Al Ittihad Park. Alight here to admire exotic plants or take a leisurely stroll through the green spaces. This station also provides access to the Galleria Golden Mile shopping center, featuring boutiques of global brands, or the picturesque Palm West Beach.

Next, you arrive at Nakheel Mall station. This stop connects to Nakheel Mall, where you can catch the latest movies, shop, buy fresh groceries, or enjoy a delicious meal. From Nakheel Mall station, you can also access The View at the Palm observation deck and the St. Regis Dubai hotel.

The final stop is Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. This station is located right at the entrance of the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. Here, you can visit the Lost Chambers Aquarium or marvel at the marine life in the Dolphin Bay.

The monorail departs every 15 minutes. Tickets cost $5,5 for a one-way trip and $8 for a round trip.

Tram  

The T1 tram line stretches through the coastal area of Dubai Marina and extends into the mainland part of the Jumeirah district. To get to the Palm, alight at the Palm Jumeirah1 stop. From there, it's a 7-minute walk to the pedestrian bridge leading to the monorail station.

The tram runs every 12 minutes, with tickets priced at $1,5.

Metro  

Reaching the island directly by metro isn't possible. The closest station to the Palm is Dubai Internet City on the Red Line, from where you can take a taxi or purchase a monorail ticket. Alternatively, if you reach Dubai Marina Metro Station or DMCC Metro Station, you can transfer to the T1 tram. The route would be: Dubai Marina Metro Station or DMCC Metro Station, T1 tram line to the Palm Jumeirah1 stop, and then the monorail.

Trains run every 4 minutes, and tickets cost $2.

Lost Chambers Aquarium  

Located at Atlantis the Palm, the Lost Chambers Aquariumis designed as a series of pavilions and tunnels inspired by the mythical island of Atlantis.
